Plaster molds of an orange peel, pistachio shells, a banana peel, and tree bark. Each mold was cast directly onto the previous form, creating a series of separate molds dependent on one another, a layering of skins themselves.
Casted plaster, rubber, and cement.
The soap was used repeatedly by the hands that the form was cast from. The hands and the soap simultaneously cleaned each other until they both began to erode and change form.
28 Days / 7 Years
Molds were taken of multiple bodies, then sewn together to create a nearly full human form. The mold is displayed as a potential protective skin for these multiple bodies to inhabit. Sections of the molds are also displayed, but built into the walls, extending from their boundaries as synonymous objects with the space.
